Excellent print quality
Thanks to minute 2pl ink droplets and a maximum print resolution of 4800x1200 dpi, the PIXMA MP495 delivers detailed full colour photographs as well as professional-looking business documents. Document print speeds are 8.8 ipm in mono or 5.0 ipm in colour. A borderless 10x15cm photolab-quality print is delivered in just 41 seconds*.
Easy to use
There’s no waiting around to use this device – Quick Start means it’s ready-to-go just seconds after switching on. Operation is simple thanks to the customizable Canon Solution Menu EX, and even if you forget to open the paper tray, the printer automatically does so for easy retrieval of your prints and copies.
Full HD Movie Print
Capture memories by turning your Canon digital camera movie moments into beautiful prints with Canon’s Full HD Movie Print. Simply play your movie using the Full HD Movie Print software, and capture a frame or frames to print. Advanced Canon technologies enhance the image producing photo quality you never thought possible from a movie.
Efficient scanning
Scan in detail using the 1200dpi scanner. Auto Scan Mode automatically recognises what is being scanned – a photo or a document – before saving it using the most suitable settings. Auto Document Fix is a technology which separately enhances text, graphics and images in scanned documents, making scanned documents clearer, more vivid and more impactful.
Intelligent software
A suite of software provides even more functionality. Easy-WebPrint EX lets you clip & combine information from multiple web pages, so you only print what you need. Auto Photo Fix II is an intuitive feature that enables you to optimise photos and make corrections such as red eye removal so you get a perfect photo print. Easy-PhotoPrint EX allows easy layouts for printing photos, calendars, and now has an integrated Flickr® search function to find appropriate publicly available images.
